MVCC Libraries are committed to providing equal access to our collection, facilities, and services to all users. We strive to design our resources with universal design standards in mind from the beginning. We also offer a range of services and assistive technology tools in order to accommodate individuals that may require assistance with using library resources.
The libraries' website falls under MVCC's Web Accessibility Policy and is designed to comply with the W3C Web accessibility initiatives.
It is a priority for the MVCC Libraries to select and acquire, whenever possible, resources and technologies that are accessible to all and compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. MVCC Libraries will provide reasonable accommodations and alternate formats to items in our collection that are not accessible to our patrons with disabilities. See Request Alternative Format to learn more.
We strive to continue to build upon the progress we have made with accessibility standards. If you would like to report an accessibility concern in the MVCC Libraries or our website, please contact Jocelyn Ireland, EIT Library Liaison and Instructional Design Librarian at jireland@mvcc.edu or 315-792-5372. Students needing accommodations due to a disability should connect with the Coordinator of Accessibility Resources, Tamara Mariotti.
