Choosing a Topic

Good research topics are:

  • Current: people care about this topic right now
  • Unique: different than what others are researching
  • Spark curiousity: you care about this topic and want to learn more
  • Controversial: someone could disagree with you!
  • Researchable: enough sources, not too many sources
  • You don’t already know “the answer”
